PharmaVoice names ‘Red Jacket’ honorees at virtual event
PharmaVoice named five life sciences leaders as “Red Jacket” honorees during its PharmaVoice 100 virtual celebration on Thursday. This special recognition is reserved for those who have appeared on the annual list multiple times and have made a special mark on the industry.
“These leaders — who hail from all corners of the life sciences — have a proven track record of setting audacious goals in their sector and devoting their careers to accomplishing them. They are seasoned pros leaving a lasting mark on the lives of patients, colleagues and the industry as a whole,” according to the PharmaVoice article published Thursday. “Our Red Jacket honorees are also dedicated mentors known for paving the way for the next generation of transformative leaders. And they pull all this off while often advancing greater goals such as patient access, equity and diversity, gender parity and better health outcomes for all.”
The 2022 Red Jacket honorees are:
- Udit Batra, CEO of Waters Corp.
- Fabio Gratton, founder, chief alchemist of Alchemy Factory
- Quita Highsmith, vice president and chief diversity officer of Genentech
- Peyton Howell, chief operating and growth officer of Parexel
- Jim Lang , CEO of Eversana
Taren Grom, PharmaVoice editor-in-chief emeritus announced the honorees to close the inaugural Next Era of Leadership event. Event attendees watched nine different sessions featuring 25 speakers, including a keynote presentation by Melinda Richter, Global Head, JLABS, Johnson & Johnson.
“The PharmaVoice community was on full display during the Celebration event with thought leaders from across the life sciences convening to discuss some of the most important topics and trends impacting the industry — from creating an innovative corporate culture to developing sustainable D&I and health equity strategies,” Grom said.
