Facilities Dive to provide sector news as hybrid work, tech innovation transform $1T industry
With the emergence of new technologies, shifting work models, and health and safety regulations, Industry Dive’s new business journalism publication, Facilities Dive, will keep industry leaders apprised of the latest news in building operations, a market projected to reach $5 trillion by 2030. The daily newsletter will land in inboxes on June 5.
Facilities Dive will cover industry tools and trends that support the functionality, safety, and sustainability of buildings, from grounds and infrastructure to the real estate itself.
“The last few years have drastically shifted the role of the facilities managers,” said Thai Phi Le, Senior Managing Editor of New Launches. “Facilities Dive will help leaders prioritize their strategies around these changes, including green and smart tech adoption, how and where people work, and the influx of investments flooding the space.”
In addition to evolving technology, people have changed how and where they work, creating new decision points like how much office space companies need because of hybrid work models or what the new standards are for health and safety measures. More dollars are also up for grabs as both the local and federal government funnel billions of dollars into infrastructure investments. Facilities management is on the front lines of this transformation.
“These changes are coming fast and these leaders, who oversee individual buildings and plants to larger properties, will find Facilities Dive will be the place to get the daily news they need to know to understand how best to do their jobs,” added Le.
Facilities Dive readers can expect news and analysis on changing workplace dynamics as well as implementation of technology like robotics and AI, sustainability initiatives and environmental regulations, rapid modernization and the challenges that come with it, and other stories top of mind for executives and decision-makers.
Facilities Dive is the fourth newsletter Industry Dive launched in 2023, with Fashion Dive, Hotel Dive, and Packaging Dive debuting earlier this year. It’s part of an ambitious, accelerated publication strategy that will bring award-winning journalism to new markets and audiences.
