Industry Dive Hires Randy Lilleston as Editor-in-Chief

Industry Dive, a business-to-business mobile-first digital media company, has hired Randy Lilleston as editor-in-chief. He will be responsible for directing editorial strategy across Industry Dives portfolio of business publications. Lilleston comes to the company from NPR, where he was a supervising editor of digital news.

Mobile presents a huge opportunity to rethink approaches to delivering news to niche markets, said Lilleston. Im excited to join a team that is investing in new models.

Lilleston is an award-winning journalist with nearly 20 years of experience in digital news, including as a senior-level editor with USA TODAY, CNN and America Online. NPR won several of the news industrys highest honors during his tenure, including a George Foster Peabody Award and two Edgar R. Murrow awards.
